SEARCHING A COFFEE TABLE BOOK
As commercial photographers based in the Netherlands Rijk in Beeld,
visual storytelling has always been at the heart of our work. When we bought a second home near Xàbia, our plan was simple: slow down, step away from assignments and enjoy the area without a camera.
We searched for a coffee table book that truly reflected Xàbia; its coastline and countryside, its old town and the quiet moments of everyday life.
In the absence of such a book, we did what felt most natural to us:
we picked up the camera.
Xàbia continued to surprise us. The changing light on sea, stone and land revealed a place that rewards patience and attention. This book is a collection of images made without urgency guided by curiosity and admiration rather than assignment.
We hope our book invites others to experience Xàbia as we do!
